Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in the same way.

2. The cookies we use

Essential (always on). One cookie, named hsd_session, keeps you signed in after you sign in with your email and password, or with Google. Without it the Service cannot recognize you. It lasts up to one year, or until you sign out.

Preferences (stored on your device). The browser's local storage remembers things like your text size, night mode and where you stopped listening, so the app opens where you left it. This data stays on your device.

Analytics and advertising (only if used). If we run advertising, we may use tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the results. Where the law requires it, these are activated only with your consent.

3. Payments

When you pay or save a card, you are taken to the secure page of our payment provider, Airwallex, which may set its own cookies for security and fraud prevention. These are governed by Airwallex's own policies.

4. How to control cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in.
